Palace Hotel Tokyo

Website creation & digital strategy

After three years of renovation, the iconic Palace Hotel Tokyo re-opened on the 17th of May 2012 in the centre of this vibrant metropolis as a serene and refined haven of hospitality with a rich history dating back over half a century. Recognised as one of the finest hotels in Japan, the team in Tokyo approached Kingsland Linassi to design and build their English web presence. We delivered an award-winning elegant and dynamic website capable of showcasing everything that gives the hotel its legendary luxury status, from the spacious rooms to its privileged location, using features such as room comparison and an interactive Google Map.

The site boasts a uniquely complex, yet intuitive content management system and framework that allows the editor an unprecedented level of control over every aspect of the layout of each page, from the fairly standard capacity to edit content, styles and images down to assigning the amount of screen real estate each block of content occupies. Our SEM team are retained to help drive traffic and bookings through the website and our development team provide ongoing web support.
